Our office

Side by side with our partners

We are based on Madirokely Beach next to Beluga Hotel, on the west side of the island of Nosy Be. After many years spent hot desking without a dedicated office, we are so glad to finally have our own space, in a facility shared with our partners Baleines Rand’eau, Mada Megafauna and Freedive Nosy Be. With extensive storage and desk place, solar-powered electricity and a direct beach access, we couldn’t be happier. Feel free to come say hi!

Our research boat

Ad Astra

Since 2024, we are the proud owners of Ad Astra, a 9.8 meter long research vessel that was custom made entirely in Nosy Be. With a larger size, it is more stable and allows for exploration and longer distances. The sunroof protects from the sun, and with back platforms it allows for smooth and easy entry into the water. With a large range of storage and waterproof space, as well as a top platform for optimal searching, Ad Astra is the perfect research boat (did we mention the picnic table?).

Thanks to the generous support of Suzuki, we have a 200hp Suzuki motor that is quieter, and have a spare second motor for offshore trips, as well as an echosounder on board. Discover our boat during a science day !
